2011 ANNUAL STATE CONFERENCE & AWARDS LUNCHEON

Our Annual State Conference & Luncheon is usually held at a local country club or similar venue in the Denver Metro area.  We hold our State Conference, and afterwards enjoy a luncheon with spouses, children and guests.  A keynote speach is delivered by a prominent patriot, and awards and scholarships are presented to the selected recipients.
The 2011 Annual State Luncheon & Conference was held on Saturday, February 19th.  Business conducted included brief committee reports and election and installation of 2011 Officers.  The keynote speaker was the Honorable former US Senator Wayne Allard and his lovely wife Joan, who discussed their genealogy and the rich heritage they discovered in those endeavors.  Awards were then presented to the Eagle Scout that won the essay contest, local Law Enforcement and Fire Department Officers, and other awardees for their dedicated service to the Colorado Society of the Sons of the American Revolution organization.  In attendance were also esteemed members of the state Daughters (DAR) and Children of the American Revolution (CAR).
